Kids’ Country’s Admission Policy and Procedures
Kids’ Country programs are available to children enrolled in Kindergarten through age 12 in the schools of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Kids’ Country operates on a non-discriminatory basis, giving equal access to services without regard to race, color, sex, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry or disability.
Children are enrolled by the following priority policy:
1. Kindergarten & first grade children and their siblings 2. Siblings of children currently enrolled 3 In ascending order through age twelve.
Once the Kids’ Country site has reached its capacity, a waiting list is maintained.
When a family has been accepted for enrollment, an orientation with the parent(s) and/or legal guardian may be scheduled to explain the enrollment forms and the program. Upon enrollment the parent will receive:
1. a copy of the completed and signed contract 2. a parent handbook 3. a copy of the site’s newsletter 4. an updated fee schedule 5. any other necessary forms 6. a tour of the facility.
